Origin: Barossa & Eden Valleys, Australia

Description: Shiraz in Australia or Syrah in France, it’s the same charming red, filled with ample fruit, gentle tannins and hints of pepper and spice. Torbreck’s 40 to 90-year-old vines produce spectacularly concentrated fruit, while 18 months in French oak softens any rough edges.

Food pairing: Lamb, hearty stews, grilled or braised meat and vegetables, burgers on the grill.
